Basketball Recap: St. John XXIII Takes a Loss

St. John XXIII suffered their biggest defeat since February 9, 2024 on Friday. They took a blow against the Legacy Prep Christian Academy Lions, falling 56-28. The match marked St. John XXIII's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Legacy Prep Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Charlotte Freeman, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Ginger Freeman was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.

St. John XXIII's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.
