Volleyball Game Preview: West Springfield Spartans vs. Westfield Bulldogs

The West Springfield Spartans will face off against the Westfield Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. West Springfield will be strutting in after a victory while Westfield will be coming in after a defeat.

On Tuesday, West Springfield made easy work of Alexandria City and carried off a 3-0 win. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

West Springfield never let Alexandria City on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-22, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Westfield suffered their biggest loss since October 7, 2024 on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to South Lakes. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Westfield was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 25-15.

West Springfield's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Westfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
