Basketball Game Preview: Springboro Panthers vs. Beavercreek Beavers

The Springboro Panthers will face off against the Beavercreek Beavers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Beavercreek will be up against a hot Springboro team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Springboro walked away with a 57-45 victory over Lebanon on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beavercreek). They blew past Belmont 87-33 on Tuesday. Given the Beavers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while the Bison are ranked 658th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Springboro pushed their record up to 13-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Beavercreek, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.

Springboro didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Beavercreek in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 55-49 win.
