Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southampton). They blew past the Surry County Cougars 47-22 on Friday. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 42-36 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

The win made it two in a row for Southampton and bumps their season record up to 2-2. As for Surry County, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southampton will take on Ridgecroft in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Surry County and Lancaster will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
