Baseball Game Preview: Titusville Rockets vs. Slippery Rock Rockets

Titusville will face off against Slippery Rock at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Titusville will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Titusville's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Oil City with a sharp 10-0 victory. Considering the Rockets have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Titusville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxon Covell, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Covell is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last 12 games he's played. Ian McDonald was another, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
