Smith leads Jesuit to upset win Friday night.

EJ Smith, son of the NFL's career rushing leader Emmitt Smith, rushed for 164 yards and four touchdown as Dallas Jesuit shocked defending Texas 6A-2 champion and No. 23 Longview 27-25 on Friday night.

Smith scored on runs of 41 and seven yards early as Jesuit led from start to finish. According to the Dallas Morning News, Jesuit ran out the final 8:28 of the fourth quarter to secure the 6A-2 second-round playoff win.

The younger Smith is ranked the third best all-purpose back in the country by 247Sports. Florida, Georgia and Ohio State stand out among his 22 scholarship offers.

Jesuit (8-4) faces Klein Collins in regional play next week.
