Franklin Community has gone 10-0 against Whiteland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Franklin Community Grizzly Cubs will challenge the Whiteland Warriors at 1:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Franklin Community and four for Whiteland.

Last Thursday, Franklin Community came up short against Seymour and fell 51-41.

Meanwhile, Whiteland also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Shelbyville by a score of 43-30.

Franklin Community will have to keep a close watch on Sophia Dyer and Bryanna Gillock, a pair of players who had a big impact on Whiteland's prior game. Dyer dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards, while Gillock posted six points and seven rebounds. That was a full 46.7% of Whiteland's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Even though they lost, Whiteland smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matchups.

Franklin Community's record is now 6-14. As for Whiteland, their record is now 5-14.
