Softball Recap: Montgomery Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Montgomery and Ukiah squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Montgomery had to settle for second. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Montgomery saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Natalia Campos, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Montgomery's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-15. As for Ukiah, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-8-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Montgomery nor Ukiah have any future games scheduled.
