Volleyball Recap: Gunnison Valley Find Success

Gunnison Valley won the last time they faced Piute and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs walked away with a 3-1 win over the Thunderbirds. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Gunnison Valley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, 28-26.

Shae King had a dynamite game, getting 20 digs and two assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory got Gunnison Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Piute, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Gunnison Valley will challenge Juab at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Piute, they will square off against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
