Independence hadn't done well against Beckman recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Trailblazers. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.
