Softball Recap: Coronado Takes a Loss

Coronado lost against Mar Vista back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Islanders fell just short of the Mariners by a score of 2-1. The Islanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coronado saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jersey Cunningham, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Mar Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

Coronado didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 17-0 victory against Crawford on the 25th. As for Mar Vista, they will head out to challenge Hilltop at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
