Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Tigers vs. Bravo Knights

The Lincoln Tigers will square off against the Bravo Knights at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Lincoln came up short against Eagle Rock on Monday, falling 3-0.

While Lincoln was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Eagle Rock's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Bravo came up short against Marshall on Monday and fell 3-1. The Knights have struggled against the Barristers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Marshall scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 25-17.

Bravo's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Lincoln couldn't quite get it done against Bravo in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can Lincoln avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
