Chillicothe dropped down to 3-3 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They took a hard 35-21 fall against the Miami Trace Panthers. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Chillicothe still got an impressive performance from Cartae Ligon, who rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 32 receiving yards.

As for Miami Trace, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 28.0 points this season.

Miami Trace was led to victory by Julian Baker and Baron Phipps. Baker gained 217 total yards and three touchdowns, while Phipps rushed for 94 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 61 yards.

Chillicothe has already played their next contest, a 34-29 win against Washington on the 3rd. As for Miami Trace, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 49-6 victory against Hillsboro on the 3rd.
