Softball Recap: Northridge Grizzlies vs. Severance Silver Knights
Northridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Severance Silver Knights, falling 12-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 5-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.
Bo Tellez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Bailey McGeen, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Northridge's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Severance, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which somehow isn't as good as their 12-3-1 record this season.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Wellington the next time they take the field. Severance will head out to face Wellington at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Northridge will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
