Baseball Game Preview: Boulder Panthers vs. Riverdale Ridge Ravens

The Boulder Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Riverdale Ridge Ravens at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Saturday, Boulder didn't have quite enough to beat Brighton and fell 7-6. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Finn Torvik was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Riverdale Ridge got themselves on the board against Northglenn on Saturday, but Northglenn never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Norse with a sharp 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Ravens, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Riverdale Ridge and bumps their season record up to 13-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Boulder, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-7.
