On Tuesday, American Heritage faced Lourdes Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The American Heritage Patriots were the clear victor by a 5-1 margin over Lourdes Academy. The result was nothing new for the Patriots, who have now won five matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Lourdes Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from ARIANA DOLES (2), Juliana Soto, COURTNEY CARUSO, and MIA SOMMERS.

American Heritage's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lourdes Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, American Heritage and Western will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Lourdes Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Immaculata-La Salle at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
