The Belleview Christian Bruins will take on the Highland Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Highland took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Belleview Christian, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with five losses in a row, Belleview Christian turned things around against Two Roads Charter School on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 3-1.
Belleview Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-23, 25-10, 25-18.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Belleview Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Galilea De Casas, who had 17 digs and two assists. Those 17 digs gave De Casas a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Harjas Thiara, who had 21 digs and four aces.
Belleview Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in four consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Highland came up short against Heritage Christian on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.
Highland started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.
Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Belleview Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 4-12.
