Basketball Recap: Cooper Comes Up Short

Cooper lost against Granbury back in November of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cooper Cougars fell 56-45 to the Granbury Pirates.

Cooper dropped their record down to 5-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Granbury, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-9.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cooper Cougars take on the Aledo Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Aledo's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Granbury, they will head out on the road to take on Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
