Basketball Recap: Menominee Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Menominee had no trouble coming through when it counted. They beat the Gwinn Modeltowners on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 51-46. The Maroons haven't had any issues with the Modeltowners recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Menominee's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for Gwinn, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 6-19 record this season.

Menominee wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-44 victory against Iron Mountain on the 7th. Gwinn does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
