Basketball Recap: Butner Comes Up Short

Butner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a blow against the New Lima Falcons, falling 63-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-3 back in November of 2024.

Butner's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for New Lima, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Butner will face off against Mason at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Butner is facing Mason at the right time seeing as Mason is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for New Lima, they will venture away from home to challenge Strother at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
