Mira Monte moved up to 696 from 722 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in South Yosemite. A 28-12 win over the Lions helped the Lions improve their standing.

Ridgeview took down Mira Monte 28-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brandon Tripp ran for 83 yards and caught one passes for three yards in the win.

South's dynamic duo of Perez Eddy and Evans Keith proved tough for West to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Eddy threw for 153 yards and three touchdowns and Keith had 123 yards receiving. Duke Tarrell helped South's passing attack out by catching four balls for 29 yards.

STANLEY DUBARD was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 104 yards on 18 carries as the Vikings defeated the Vikings. MICAH MITCHELL also contributed to the rushing game with six yards on the ground.

Rea Armando made the biggest impact on defense this week as South topped West. The 6-foot-2 senior forced one fumble and grabbed 1.0 sack.

Golden Valley's Alexander Soto and Demetric Fair have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Soto has thrown for 1274 yards this season, while Fair, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 34 catches for 586 yards. Kamari Cotton-moya from the Wolf Pack leads the league in rushing with 911 yards.

The top two teams in South Yosemite will face off this week when first place South takes on second place Ridgeview. Last week, John Wren's team defeated Mark Camps' team, while Ridgeview bested Brett Clark's team.

Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Dennis Manning's team takes on the Rebels. The Wolf Pack's offense has racked up 199 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while South has allowed only 100 on the year.

Ridgeview's Cotton-moya needs only 89 yards against the Rebels next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when South takes on the Wolf Pack. The Rebels have allowed 100 points this season, while Ridgeview has given up 129. South allowed 24 points last week as it topped the Vikings.

There should be lots of points scored when the Rebels and the Wolf Pack face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, South comes in having scored 187 this season, while Ridgeview has scored 199. The Rebels scored 25 points last week as they beat West.

South and the Vikings played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with South eventually emerging with a 25-24 victory. Eddy ran for 25 yards in the win.
