Flag Football Recap: Walnut Grove Has No Trouble Against Cedar Grove + How To Watch

Walnut Grove never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Cedar Grove Saints as they made off with a 25-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia flag football rankings (they are ranked 98th, while the Saints are ranked 296th).

The critical scores for Walnut Grove came from Alyn Moon, LuLu Smoot, Lottie Smith, and A'Niyah Fields.

Walnut Grove's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Zoe Moser, Danica Lea, and Kimaya Campbell, who each picked up one sack apiece.

The win made it two in a row for Walnut Grove and bumps their season record up to 11-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 points in those games. As for Cedar Grove, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Coincidentally, Walnut Grove and Cedar Grove will both be playing T.H.R.I.V.E. Christian Academy the next time they take the field. The Saints will host the Victors at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
