Volleyball Recap: North Park Wildcats vs. Plateau Valley Cowboys
North Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Plateau Valley Cowboys, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-14, 25-8.
Magdalena Moya paced North Park's offense, picking up four kills. Moya got some help from Paige Solano and her five assists. Aubrey Baugh controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Leading Plateau Valley to victory were Lexi Taylor and Morgann Miller. Taylor had five digs and three aces, while Miller had ten assists and four digs. Taylor is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.
North Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Plateau Valley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 9-0.
North Park has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Hayden on the 13th. As for Plateau Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against De Beque at 6:00 p.m.
