Baseball Recap: Platteview Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Platteview took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Malcolm, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Platteview never let Malcolm get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Tuesday. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 11-5 victory the Clippers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Platteview saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Clark, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Platteview's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.4 runs on average over those games. As for Malcolm, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
