Volleyball Recap: Litchfield Find Success

Litchfield posted their closest victory since August 22nd on Saturday. They skirted past the Springfield Tigers 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Litchfield had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 20-25, 29-27, 15-7.

Litchfield's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Springfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's still a better percentage than their 4-16 record this season.

Litchfield will challenge Glencoe-Silver Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop on the 4th.
