Volleyball Recap: Camden County Beats Colquitt County for Their Third Straight Win

Camden County entered their tilt with Colquitt County on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Packers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Camden County took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15.

Blake Giesbrecht paced Camden County's offense, picking up seven kills. Giesbrecht got some help from Finley Morris and her 11 assists. Millie Mayerlen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Camden County's record is now 17-11. As for Colquitt County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.

Camden County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Valdosta on the 30th. As for Colquitt County, they will challenge Thomasville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
