Basketball Recap: Bo Hogan Key Part of a Team Effort in Warriors Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jefferson, Oconee County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 48-37 win over the West Hall Spartans. The victory was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Oconee County's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bo Hogan led the charge by dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bo Little, who posted 12 points.

Oconee County's win bumped their record up to 9-14. As for West Hall, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-17.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oconee County will host Cherokee Bluff at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cherokee Bluff knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 23 matches -- so hopefully Oconee County likes a good challenge. As for West Hall, they will face off against Monroe Area at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. West Hall is facing Monroe Area at the right time seeing as Monroe Area is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
