Baseball Preview: West Forsyth Titans vs. Davie War Eagles        
        
		
            West Forsyth has won seven straight games at home, while Davie has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much  on Tuesday. The Titans will welcome the War Eagles  at 5:00  p.m. West Forsyth's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5  runs per game  this season, so Davie's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
West Forsyth had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Parkland on Monday. The Titans' pitchers stepped up to hand the Mustangs  a   15-0 shutout. Considering the Titans have won 13 matches by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
Meanwhile, Davie beat Glenn 6-3  on Monday. The  win continues a trend for the War Eagles in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won three in a row.
Davie got a great performance from  Colin Harrison as he  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  Harrison has posted since back in March.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Coy James, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. He has become a key player for Davie: the team is 13-4 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 0-8 otherwise.  Hunter Potts was another key player,  getting on base  in two of his three plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 Davie  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in six consecutive  games.
 West Forsyth's victory bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Davie, they now  have a winning record of 13-12.
