Basketball Game Preview: Needville Bluejays vs. Sweeny Bulldogs

Needville is 2-8 against Sweeny since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Needville Bluejays will look to defend their home court against the Sweeny Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Needville is headed into Friday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 17th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Brazosport 69-25.

Meanwhile, Sweeny was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 41-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Wharton.

Sweeny's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Needville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
