Football Recap: Los Alamitos Skates Past St. Paul with Ease

Los Alamitos extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 5-0. They blew past the St. Paul Swordsmen 48-14. With the Griffins ahead 34-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

As for St. Paul, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while Los Alamitos is ranked 11th).

Although St. Paul took the loss, they still got scores from Marley Luatua and Jordan Lauago.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Los Alamitos will square off against Granite Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Paul, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Servite at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
