Soccer Game Preview: Muscatine vs. Bettendorf

Muscatine hasn't had much luck against Bettendorf recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Muskies will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Muscatine came up short against Davenport Central and fell 4-2. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Muscatine came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa soccer rankings (they are ranked 20th, while Davenport Central are ranked 75th).

Meanwhile, Bettendorf kept a clean sheet against Clinton on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the River Kings. The win continues a trend for Bettendorf in their matchups with Clinton: they've now won eight in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Muscatine fell to 13-1-2. As for Bettendorf, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-2.
