The biggest upset of the week belonged to Oxon Hill, who took down 156th ranked High Point, 34-20.
Wise extended the longest winning streak in Prince George's County 4A this week by beating Bladensburg, 32-8. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Pumas.
Wise's dynamic duo of Isaiah Black and Kenneth Scott-kelow proved tough for the Mustangs to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Black threw for 89 yards and Scott-kelow had 53 yards receiving. Mel Young helped Wise's passing attack out by catching one ball for 25 yards.
Darius Victor was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 211 yards on 34 carries as Northwestern bested Bladensburg. Teammate Jason Deloatch added to the ground attack by rushing for 31 yards.
Northwestern's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Wildcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jovantae Seard has thrown for 728 yards and six touchdowns this season, while John Johnson has 21 catches for 290 yards. Victor leads the league in rushing with 1797 yards.
A big matchup in Prince George's County 4A this week will be when DuVal takes on Suitland. At the moment, the Tigers are in third, while the Rams are in second.
Suitland took down Eleanor Roosevelt 49-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
