Volleyball Recap: Smithville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Smithville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Ingomar Falcons. If the Seminoles were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-9, 25-15.

Ingomar found their leader in freshman Ella Hart Wilbanks, who had eight assists and four aces.

Smithville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Ingomar, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4-1 record this season.

Smithville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against West Lowndes on the 9th. As for Ingomar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Okolona on the 9th.
