Basketball Game Preview: Tinora Rams vs. Antwerp Archers

The Tinora Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Antwerp Archers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tinora will be strutting in after a win while Antwerp will be coming in after a defeat.

Tinora will head into Saturday's contest hoping to keep the good times rolling: they proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 39) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged Stryker out 28-26. The 28-point effort marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, Antwerp came up short against Hicksville last Friday and fell 49-41. The Archers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tinora has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.8 points per game. As for Antwerp, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Tinora didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Antwerp in their previous matchup back in February, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tinora since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
