Baseball Recap: Gulf Shores Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

Gulf Shores entered their tilt with Smiths Station on Saturday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Smiths Station Panthers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dolphins also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2022.

Jacob O'Bryan was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Price Stephens, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Smiths Station, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
