Basketball Recap: Severn Run Comes Up Short

Severn Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Broadneck Bruins and fell 49-20. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-2.

Severn Run's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Broadneck, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Severn Run and Meade will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. As for Broadneck, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Crofton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
