Recap: White's Warriors vs. Emmanuel Christian Eagles
The White's Warriors won the last time they faced the Emmanuel Christian Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. White's walked away with a 54-47 victory over Emmanuel Christian.
Despite the loss, Emmanuel Christian still got an impressive performance from Zion McKnight, who dropped a triple-double on 17 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. Those ten assists set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was AJ Kirtlan, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 15 rebounds.
The win got White's back to even at 2-2. As for Emmanuel Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White's will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Sebastian's Soldiers HomeSchool on January 26th. As for Emmanuel Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Grace Baptist Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
