West Point extended their postseason success on Friday against Pontotoc. They claimed a resounding 37-0 victory over the Warriors. The Green Wave's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Quentin Thompson was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 166 yards on only seven carries. Those 166 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Thompson was just one part of a punishing run game: West Point was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 283 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 155 rushing yards in six consecutive contests.

West Point's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Pontotoc, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-5.

West Point has already played their next matchup, a 20-6 win against Holmes County Central on the 28th. Pontotoc does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
