Basketball Game Preview: Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights vs. Alexandria City Titans

The Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Alexandria City Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Friendship Collegiate Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Last Thursday, Friendship Collegiate Academy took a blow against Friendship Tech Prep Academy, falling 78-30. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' District of Columbia basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Titans are ranked third).

Meanwhile, Alexandria City was able to grind out a solid win over Fairfax on Friday, taking the game 45-36.

Friendship Collegiate Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Alexandria City, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 4-12.

Friendship Collegiate Academy came up short against Alexandria City in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, falling 49-40. Thankfully for Friendship Collegiate Academy, Kye Robinson (who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and five steals) won't be suiting up this time.
