Elida won the last time they faced Dora and things went their way on Friday too. The Tigers blew past the Coyotes 15-5. Considering the Tigers have won six games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

TJ Kennedy was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Hardy Fraze was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs and two doubles.

Elida hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Dora struck out six times.

Elida's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Dora, they, and Floyd. As for the Coyotes, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Coming up, Elida will be playing at home against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Dora, they will challenge Floyd at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Broncos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.13 runs per game on average), something the Coyotes will no doubt try to take advantage of.
