Genesee Christian entered their tilt with Webberville on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They claimed a resounding 73-19 victory over the Webberville Spartans. The Soldiers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 29 points or more this season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Haley Proctor, who posted four points.

Genesee Christian's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Webberville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
