Basketball Recap: Decatur Takes a Loss

Decatur suffered their biggest defeat since January 15, 2024 on Saturday. They lost 63-39 to the Greenforest Eagles. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Decatur's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Greenforest, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-5.

Decatur will challenge Chamblee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chamblee knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Decatur likes a good challenge. Greenforest has already played their next matchup (against Liberty Magnet), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
