Basketball Recap: Glen Iris Baptist Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Glen Iris Baptist extended their postseason success on Friday against Trinity Christian. They blew past the Trinity Christian Tigers 61-38. The Swordsmen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Glen Iris Baptist was led to victory by Elliot Dickey and Joshua Everett. Dickey posted 20 points and seven rebounds, while Everett put up 14 points and three steals. Everett is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last 12 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Coleman Saruse, who had ten points and seven boards.

Glen Iris Baptist has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.4 points over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Christian and nudges their season record down to 3-8.

Glen Iris Baptist didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 90-74 victory against Pineview Christian on the 22nd. Trinity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
