San Angelo Central's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Friday's struggle, when Wall hitters got past them. San Angelo Central came up short against Wall on Friday, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcats have suffered since April 26, 2024.

Meanwhile, Copperas Cove fell victim to Cooper and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Cougars.

This is the second loss in a row for San Angelo Central and nudges their season record down to 8-4. As for Copperas Cove, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1.

San Angelo Central couldn't quite finish off Copperas Cove in their previous matchup back in April of 2018 and fell 10-8. Can San Angelo Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
