Basketball Recap: William Yeiter Key Part of a Team Effort in Panthers Win

Crosspointe Christian Academy won the last time they faced MTI School of Knowledge and things went their way on Friday too. The Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers strolled past MTI School of Knowledge with points to spare, taking the game 58-42. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Crosspointe Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but William Yeiter led the charge by going 8 of 16 on his way to 18 points. Yeiter's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Phil Fitzsimmons, who went 10 for 13 on his way to 21 points.

Crosspointe Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for MTI School of Knowledge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crosspointe Christian Academy will host Calvary Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for MTI School of Knowledge, they will welcome GEO Next Generation at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
