The Big Walnut Golden Eagles typically have all the answers at home, but on Friday the Grove City Greyhounds proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 54-46 victory over the Golden Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grove City.
Kraig Gilbert continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points. Kyland Meldon was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Grove City's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-8. As for Big Walnut, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.
Grove City will challenge Walnut Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
