The Bengals will challenge the Rams at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Brighton has eight straight wins, Highland has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Brighton's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They put the hurt on Olympus with a sharp 11-0 victory. Considering the Bengals have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Brighton got a great performance from Case Beames as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Beames has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Jonathon Ellis was a standout: he scored a run while going 2-for-2. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Riley Brown was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and one double.
Brighton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
The home team had won the previous two meetings between Highland and Alta, and Alta kept the tradition alive. The Rams lost 9-2 to the Hawks on Wednesday.
Joshua Zandberg was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.
Brighton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Everything went Brighton's way against Highland in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Brighton made off with a 13-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bengals since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
