Volleyball Recap: Oceanside Takes a Loss

Oceanside lost against Pacific Ridge back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Oceanside Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pacific Ridge Firebirds. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Pacific Ridge to victory were Jake Streitman and Camden Martin. Streitman had ten digs and one block, while Martin had five digs. Those ten digs gave Streitman a new career-high.

Oceanside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Pacific Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

Oceanside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Clairemont on the 14th. As for Pacific Ridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Mount Miguel on the 14th.
