Soccer Game Preview: American Christian Academy vs. Sipsey Valley

The American Christian Academy Patriots will head out on the road to take on the Sipsey Valley Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (American Christian Academy has eight straight victories, Sipsey Valley has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

On Friday, American Christian Academy got the win against Northside by a conclusive 9-2. Addison Golden was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Sipsey Valley lost 6-1 to Shelby County on Wednesday. Sipsey Valley were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-0.

American Christian Academy pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 45 goals over those five contests. As for Sipsey Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Everything went American Christian Academy's way against Sipsey Valley in their previous meeting back in February, as American Christian Academy made off with a 10-0 win.
