The Chargers fell just short of the Tupelo Golden Wave by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for Oxford in their meetings with Tupelo: they've now lost three in a row.

Having lost for the first time this season, Oxford fell to 2-1. As for Tupelo, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
